“Aris Garoufalis” Hall

For almost four decades, the Aris Garoufalis Concert Hall has hosted countless diploma examinations, competitions, concerts and other events of the historic institution in the unfinished emblematic building of architect Ioannis Despotopoulos on Rigillis Street.

Thanks to the generous support of the Friends of Aliki Vatikioti Foundation for Music and the Arts in memory of the great pianist and educator Aliki Vatikioti, the Aris Garoufalis Hall was completely renovated.

With its new form and the substantial interventions of the architectural team of Souzana and Dimitris Antonakakis and Telemachos Andrianopoulos in collaboration with the audiologist Gottfried Schubert, the new Aris Garoufalis hall meets all the specifications of a modern concert and recording hall of high quality, with a capacity of 200 seats, which until now was missing from the capital.
